Frequently Asked Questions about using TWIPLA on Weebly (FAQ)

General

Why do I have to republish the website after adding TWIPLA?

According to the TWIPLA installation tutorial for Weebly sites (it can be found here), republishing the site is a required step, after adding the application, since it represents a change in the structure of the site.

After connecting our app on your site, it will redirect you to the app in the same tab.

Now, for having it started, you must go back to your Editor again and Publish the changes to your site. Then, you can go back to the app and check the stats.

If it still does not work, something got cached most probably. Try and clear the cache memory of your browser and Republish the site again.

Does installing TWIPLA negatively affect my website’s SEO or performance?

No. TWIPLA won’t affect your Weebly site’s performance or search engine ranking, regardless of whether you install it using our plugin or manually add the tracking code.

Both installation methods rely on the same lightweight script, which loads asynchronously. This means it won’t block page content or slow down your site - an important factor for both visitor experience and SEO. At approximately 30KB in size compressed, it’s tiny compared to Google Analytic’s 100KB tag. Even if you activate session recordings, the added module is only about 35 KB, keeping everything fast and efficient.

TWIPLA also runs silently in the background. It doesn’t change your layout, page content, or interfere with how search engines crawl and index your site. Whichever setup you choose, your performance and visibility stay fully intact.
