Additionally, Weebly supports the creation of online shops, and users can choose from a variety of design templates that can be easily edited to suit their preferences.

How to Install TWIPLA on Weebly

Installing TWIPLA on your Weebly site is a straightforward and effortless process. The design and/or the process presented in the video is only informative oriented and it might be out of date. For detailed step-by-step guides on how to easily install TWIPLA on any Weebly website, please refer to the installation guides listed below:

Easy installation — Install the TWIPLA Weebly plugin

This method requires any paid Weebly plan. If you have a free Weebly plan, please check the Manual installation method.

  1. Log in to your Weebly account.
  2. Open the TWIPLA plugin page directly on Weebly App Market.
  3. Click Add and then Connect, and you will be redirected to the TWIPLA dashboard.
    NoteThe app will not start tracking your website yet, follow the steps below to get it started.
  4. To activate tracking, go to the Weebly Website Editor, and click Publish to make your changes live.
  5. To view your website stats, go to Settings > My Apps > Manage App next to the TWIPLA entry.

Manual installation — Adding TWIPLA script to the Footer section

As an alternative, if you have a FREE Weebly plan, you can simply add our tracking code snippet to the footer section of your website by following these steps:

New Users

  1. Start by signing up for an account here. Enter your email address and create a password. Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Use & Data Protection Agreement and click Sign Up for Free.

  2. Check your registered email for a verification email and click the Confirm Email Address link. Check your Spam or Junk folders if it did not arrive in your Inbox. If you did not receive one or if it expired, click Resend Email Verification to get a new verification email.

  3. Once verified, you will be redirected to the TWIPLA app, where it displays the message ‘Confirming Email Address: Success’.

  4. Insert your website URL. For accuracy, we recommend copying the URL directly from your browser's address bar. Copy the URL starting from "www" and omit the protocol (HTTP/HTTPS). This helps to ensure that the URL is complete and correct.

  5. Choose your preferred Data Privacy Mode. By default, it is set to Maximum Privacy. Click Continue.

  6. Set your notification preferences by choosing the types of notifications you want to receive. Enable each notification option by using the toggle button, then click Submit.

  7. Install the tracking code by selecting the second option, Manual Tracking Code Inst., as your installation method. Click the Copy Snippet to Clipboard button to copy the tracking code generated by the app. NOTE: If you cannot find your tracking code snippet easily, navigate to Website Settings in the TWIPLA app’s left-hand sidebar and click Tracking Code.

  8. Log in to your Weebly account and open the Weebly Website Editor by clicking on Edit Site.

  9. Go to Settings and click on the SEO tab.

  10. Paste your tracking code into the Footer Code field and click Save. Publish your website.

  11. To verify if the installation succeeded, return to the TWIPLA app and click Verify Snippet Installation. Once successful, a message saying 'The tracking code was successfully embedded!' will pop up on the right of the screen. If you get the message, "The tracking code could not be found in the body section of your website's source!", check your website's source code to make sure that the tracking code was installed correctly.

  12. Click Open Dashboard to access the Main Dashboards. You may visit your live website to confirm tracking of website visits and reload the dashboard to see your first stats.

 

If you have selected the option, Install Tracking Code Later, or need to re-install the tracking code, you can locate your website's tracking code by going to Website Settings > Tracking Code. The Tracking Code Status should be "Successfully Installed."

Note: To comply with data privacy regulations and improve data collection, we've updated our tracking code. You now have access to two different tracking codes for your selected website, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your chosen data privacy mode. Existing Users

  1. Sign in to your account.
     
  2. Click the drop-down menu from the upper left corner and click ‘Add new website’. This option can also be found in the upper-right of the screen if you go to Manage your websites.

  3. Choose the website source. Select the option - No, I Don't Use Any Platform From Above.

  4. Add your website URL. To ensure accuracy, we recommend copying the URL directly from your browser's address bar. Make sure to copy the URL starting from "www" and omit the protocol (HTTP/HTTPS).

  5. Select your preferred Data Privacy Mode. By default, it’s set to Maximum Privacy. Once you have selected your preferred privacy level, tap Continue.

  6. Select Manual Tracking Code Installation as your installation method. Click Copy Snippet to Clipboard to copy the tracking code generated for your website.

  7. Log into your Weebly account and go to the Weebly Website Editor.

  8. Go to Settings and then click on the SEO tab.

  10. To verify if the installation succeeded, return to the TWIPLA app and click on Verify Snippet Installation. Once successful, a message will pop up on the right of the screen saying 'The tracking code was successfully embedded!'.

  11. Click Open Dashboard to access your Main Dashboards and start managing your account. You may visit your live website to confirm tracking of website visits. Reload the dashboard to see your first stats. To view the tracking code details and status, go to Website Settings > Tracking Code. The status should be "Successfully Installed."

Important Notes:

  • After creating an account, a verification email will be sent to your inbox containing all the necessary details. Be sure to click the Confirm Email Address button within 10 days to verify your account.
